About the role:
We are advertising for a newly created part time, 0.2 FTE (8hours), Biochemistry Training Officer, to support with the newly formed Sonic Training Academy. This role will report to the Training Academy Manager and will be based at the Royal Free Hospital and remotely from home. Ideally, we would have you work 1 day a week but are open to people working 2 half days a week.
The successful post holder will be responsible for the creation and delivery of biochemistry practical training sessions, workshops, and seminars. The post holder will also be supporting with completion of the IBMS registration portfolios and mentoring students.
The post-holder should have experience working in a laboratory environment, be HCPC registered, with a background in Biochemistry. The successful candidate must also have experience with training a range of people in a thoroughly professional and organised manner, providing support and input as required to contribute to the smooth running of the training academy, as well as being able to effectively collaborate with other subject matter experts within the profession.
The role is based at the Royal Free Hospital serviced by various commuter links including: Hampstead Heath Rail (4 minute walk), Besize Park (15 minute walk), and Gospel Oak, (17 minute walk).
