Our client, a Tier 1 Contractor with a turnover in excess of 3b and part of one of the largest Construction Groups in the world, is seeking to secure the services of an experienced Procurement Manager to assist with recent Water Tenders.
The works are predominantly major Water Treatment Works Upgrades, focusing on the Civil Engineering and Construction aspects.
Duties:
1. Managing the overall tender processes.
2. Negotiating/finalising the terms and conditions of subcontracts and bespoke subcontracts.
3. Evaluating the reliability of tenderers to enhance cost accuracy.
4. Reporting forecasted value of Procurement to Project Control.
Minimum Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you will have a minimum of 5 years in a Procurement Manager position with Main Contractors and MUST have Water experience. Solid interpersonal skills with Contractor and Client Liaison are essential.
In return, an excellent day rate is on offer, which is Outside IR35 and comes with a long-term ongoing contract.
