Sales Administrator - Sheffield Adept Resourcing Commercial Team are recruiting for a Sales Administrator to join our client in Sheffield. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented, proactive individual with strong administrative skills and a passion for providing excellent customer service. This role will require you to handle incoming sales and technical enquiries, liaising with engineers for technical issues and processing orders on Sage. You will work closely with the warehouse administrator to ensure smooth operations. Key Responsibilities: Assist the sales team with administrative tasks, including preparing sales documents and reports Maintain and update customer databases using Sage Manage incoming customer inquiries and provide high-quality customer service via email and telephone Process orders and ensure products are delivered on time Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient communication and workflow Monitor inventory levels and assist in stock management Prepare sales forecasts and assist in data analysis using Excel Organise meetings, prepare agendas, and take minutes as necessary Skills and Experience: Prior experience in sales administration Strong IT skills, with the ability to learn new software applications quickly Experience with Sage (preferred but training provided) Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on building strong relationships Excellent verbal and written communication skills Highly organised with the ability to manage time and prioritise effectively Proficiency in Excel for data analysis and reporting Benefits: Salary - £23000 - £24500pa Casual dress code Company events Free on-site parking Hours of Work: 8:30am - 5pm, Monday - Friday Location: Based in Sheffield, easily accessible by public transport with free parking available.
