Job summary ROLE SUMMARY As Stock & Compliance Lead you will be responsible for ensuring that the service maintains the correct level of clinical & non-clinical stock by working closely with the Consultants, Management team and the Operational Director. The Stock & Compliance Lead is a key member of our team, taking regular stock level checks for the business and continuously looking for financial opportunities to ensure that our service is cost effective. You will be placing orders, processing stock through the Stock Management System Genesis and liaising externally with key suppliers to maintain our stock levels. You will also be involved in assisting forecasting supply and demand to prevent overstocking and running out of stock. You will track and book required maintenance, repairs and services for the buildings and equipment to ensure full compliance. As well as conducting daily/weekly and monthly tests and audits to manage compliance within the service. You will have a friendly and accessible personal manner and will be able to deliver an effective service to Newmedica North Derbyshire. You will be able to work within small teams to maintain and enhance processes and maximise quality and efficiency. The OJV has developed a strong relationship with the local ICB and neighbouring Trusts, and this post will be a pivotal part of that ongoing relationship. Main duties of the job KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Placing all stock orders for the business to ensure that our theatre, clinic, treatment room and admin offices have the consumables required in accordance with their schedules. Collaborating with our Theatre and Outpatients Leads to ensure that the appropriate and approved safe stock and medications are available to deliver a safe service. Understand and use all functions and reports and ensure the accuracy of data held in the Stock Management System Genesis. Be proactive in chasing late orders, receiving in stock, logging stock out and ensuring stock rotation minimises wastage. Completing the stock audits monthly, i.e. fridge cleaning, expiry date checks and all other monthly checks. Track and book required maintenance and repairs. Arrange for all annual servicing within the building and equipment. Keep an accurate record of our Assets. Conduct daily/weekly and monthly compliance checks to include H&S, Fire records, legionella testing etc. Management of the sterilisation service.
