This role focuses on recruiting learners for varioustraining and preemployment programs. The successful candidate willbuild and maintain relationships with Job Centre Plus staffcommunity services referral partners and local employers to ensureeffective learnerrecruitment.
JobSummary: As a Learner Recruiter you will play a crucialrole in enrolling learners into training programs designed toenhance their skills and employment prospects. You will workclosely with referral agencies and local employers to identifypotential learners assess their needs and guide them towardssuitable educational opportunities. This role requires strongcommunication skills a proactive approach and a commitment tosafeguarding and supportinglearners.
KeyResponsibilities:
* Establishand maintain productive working relationships with Job Centre Plusstaff community services and localemployers.
* Facilitate the enrolmentof prospective learners into appropriate programs of study andsignpost them to relevant jobopportunities.
* Use a range ofInitial Advice and Guidance (IAG) instruments including TrainingNeeds Analysis Skill Check and employability assessments to assessand enrol learners.
* Liaise with JobCentre Plus and other referral agencies to identify and recruitprospective learners.
* Promote theprogram and develop strong links with local employers to createprogression routes intoemployment.
* Conduct marketingactivities and presentations to promote the program to referralagencies.
* Provide employabilitysupport and guidance to learners helping them becomejobready.
* Manage and plan caseloadseffectively to ensure each learner receives a personalised positiveexperience.
* Track and monitorlearner recruitment ensuring targets are met and maintainingaccurate records for auditcompliance.
* Conduct safeguardingpractices to ensure the safety and wellbeing of alllearners.
Requirements:
* Experiencein recruiting adults in Further Education usingIAG.
* Proven track record ofdeveloping strong working relationships with partners and achievingcontractual targets.
* Skilled inconducting skills assessments and action planning withlearners.
* Familiarity withgovernment unemployment supportprograms.
* Excellent communicationskills both written andverbal.
* Strong IT skills includingproficiency in Excel database management andWord.
* Ability to build rapport andmaintain effective relationships with clients andpartners.
* Understanding andcommitment to equal opportunities and safeguardingpractices.
