An exciting opportunity has arisen for a well organised and highly motivated psychology graduate to work in the Department of Psychological Medicine, in York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals Foundation Trust as an Assistant Psychologist.
This is a fixed term (0.2 WTE), part time post (7.5 hours), with the post holder supporting an innovative project in cancer, working alongside a Practitioner Psychologist, as well as the wider cancer psychology team.

This post will provide you with an opportunity for a range of experiences, including evaluation, research, service development, data management, joint working, and the development of departmental resources. The successful candidate will receive weekly supervision from a qualified clinical psychologist.
The Department of Psychological Medicine is a vibrant and developing clinical health psychology service in the heart of historic York, also serving residents of Scarborough within some of our services. As a member of the department, you will be part of a warm, experienced, and enthusiastic team with strong links to the Clinical Doctorate course at the University of Hull.
