PURPOSE OF ROLEThe Head of Asset Management will be responsible for the commercial performance, operational management, and delivery of asset-related programmes. This includes meeting targets, achieving KPIs, and delivering social value in line with the organisation's strategic objectives.
The role involves managing an asset management team, collaborating with senior leadership, delivering strategic business plans, and engaging effectively with external stakeholders. The portfolio under management includes assets with significant growth and performance ambitions.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Operational Management
1. Oversee the acquisitions programme: identifying opportunities, reviewing business cases, negotiating terms, and managing the acquisition process.
2. Develop and execute asset management plans, monitor performance, analyse market trends, and optimise the portfolio to achieve business objectives.
3. Supervise the performance of repairs and maintenance contracts, ensuring quality and financial efficiency.
4. Ensure legal compliance across asset portfolios, addressing any non-compliance issues with appropriate strategies.
