Daniel Owen Agency is on the lookout for an experienced and highly organised Contract Administrator to join a friendly family-run business.
The Contract Administrator will play a crucial role in managing the entire life cycle of contracts for construction projects. This includes ensuring compliance with terms, coordinating with various stakeholders, and assisting in the smooth execution of contracts from inception to completion. This role requires a thorough understanding of construction contracts, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

The company is based in southern England and began in the early 90s. They have grown significantly and now specialise in rail, as well as a multitude of other sectors. They provide both planned and reactive maintenance and are proud to offer exceptional levels of customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Pricing reactive maintenance jobs based on labour, plant & materials and inputting data into Computer-Aided Facilities Management (CAFM) System.
2. Pricing reactive maintenance jobs based on sub-contractor attendance and inputting data in CAFM System.
3. Evaluation of sub-contractor applications for payment.
4. Assisting the Contract Manager with reporting as required.
5. Assisting with preparation and submission of quotations.
6. Replying to client queries regarding commercial issues.
7. Collating information as requested by the client for audit purposes.
8. General contract administration.
Key Skills:
1. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
2. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
3. Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
5. Problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Salary & Hours:
1. Monday to Friday
2. 08:30 - 17:30
3. Up to £32,000
