Job Description Credit Controller Description: Hunter Savage are delighted to support an excellent, independent business who are seeking a Credit Controller to join their team. This role will be responsible for managing the day-to-day aspects of the finance function and report to the Finance Director. Top 3 Things to Know About this Job: Up to £32,000 Hybrid working – 2 days from home Exciting, varied customer base The Role: Implement and maintain efficient credit control systems, resolve account queries to ensure timely collection of payments, and process outstanding accounts for potential court proceedings if needed. Record and update sales orders in the sales spreadsheet, and collaborate with the sales team to ensure accurate order documentation and adherence to company procedures. Generate and present weekly sales reports to Company Directors, and promptly raise invoices using Sage Line 50. Review & confirm all relevant company activity is invoiced, and conduct customer outreach via telephone for targeting purposes. Maintain and foster positive client relationships, report to Company Directors on a weekly basis, and provide support to Company Directors as required. Perform general office and administrative duties, manage the company database, and provide switchboard, reception, and PA coverage. The Person: At least 2 years of credit control experience in a dynamic and demanding environment. Excellent communication skills, confidence, and a proactive attitude. Highly motivated self-starter with a strong work ethic. Strong telephone skills with the ability to handle a high volume of daily calls. Proficient in using a wide range of computer programs.
