We have an opportunity available for a Full Time Senior Support Worker to join the team at Lincolnshire Respite Service - Swallow Lodge based in Lincoln, LN6 8UZ.
Swallow Lodge is an essential service that enables families to take a break from caring for their loved ones, providing both planned and emergency respite to adults with mental health and learning disabilities. The service has a fantastic core team that puts the people we support at the heart of everything we do, and our aim is to create a safe, vibrant, and friendly environment.
Salary: £12.75 per hour
Hours: 35 hours per week, various shifts working 3 days a week and alternate weekends.

Responsibilities
As a Senior Support Worker, you'll have the opportunity to supervise and delegate tasks to a dedicated team of support workers, ensuring that values-based support is delivered to the highest standards to the people we support. You'll be supporting adults with various conditions including learning disabilities, dementia, mental health, and other physical conditions on a person-centered basis, from following care plans to administering medication and assisting with daily living.

Qualifications
As a Senior Support Worker, you will supervise staff members and delegate responsibilities, ensuring values-based support is delivered to the highest standard. Previous Support Worker experience is essential. You will be supporting adults with mental health illnesses on a person-centered basis, which will include following a care plan, administering medication, and assisting with community access and daily living tasks.
On joining Making Space, you will be supported step by step with on-the-job training as well as the opportunity to undertake professional qualifications if desired and required for your role. We are seeking individuals whose personal values align with ours here at Making Space.
