About the Marketing Team
At ZigZag we have big ambitions, and marketing needs to provide our engine for growth. From creating demand to building the pipeline, the role of Marketing at ZigZag is to create an environment in which retailers feel compelled to improve their returns experience. We do this by close collaboration with product and commercial teams and by making ROI-based marketing decisions to maximize our impact.
The Role
ZigZag’s key client target is fashion retailers looking to reduce the costs of returns while driving customer loyalty. In this Growth Marketing role, you will be responsible for executing the marketing plan and activities to enable growth for ZigZag, including industry events, digital marketing campaigns, social proof campaigns, and the development of creative assets. The key success metric is the generation of new Marketing Qualified Leads.
The successful candidate will have B2B Marketing experience, ideally from the retail or logistics sector. Experience in building and measuring campaigns in Hubspot is essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities
1. Deliver campaigns to drive demand and leads with new prospective clients.
2. Plan and promote ZigZag attendance and sponsorship of events and webinars.
3. Build the digital marketing capability (i.e. website, landing pages, social media, email, and advertising campaigns) to drive demand in line with MQL, pipeline creation, and client acquisition targets.
4. Run digital campaigns and build a suite of creative assets.
5. Utilize Hubspot features including forms, landing pages, and marketing email to run campaigns.
6. Utilize HubSpot marketing automation, workflows, and data analysis tools to track, improve, and scale up campaigns and measure performance and Return on Marketing Investment (ROMI).
7. Create assets and messaging to tap into keywords with high search volume.
8. Craft stories and create material that motivates retailer and logistics decision-makers to take action.
9. Proactively use organic and paid social media to engage with the target audience.
10. Deliver nurture campaigns and newsletters to promote ZigZag’s to drive demand with new clients.
11. Key KPIs – New Qualified Leads, ROI by channel/campaign/market, traffic to landing pages, advertising performance, digital & email conversion metrics.
12. Be agile, we are a growing company and sometimes we need to wear different hats!
What You’ll Need to Be Successful
1. 2+ years business experience in B2B Marketing (ideally SaaS).
2. Hubspot Marketing automation & campaigns experience.
3. The ability to combine analytical skills with creativity and storytelling skills to initiate change.
4. Ideally able to demonstrate some experience in Retail & Logistics.
5. Digital marketing experience (Google Ads, Paid LinkedIn).
6. Willingness to use project management tools (i.e. Asana).
7. Content creation experience (i.e. Canva).
8. Core traits - willingness to experiment, organized, analytical, professional, commercial, optimistic, flexible, self-starter, people person!
