The Vista Members’ fleet comprises light, super mid-size, long-range, and ultra-long-range aircraft. The Maintenance team provides a robust regional support network for Vista’s growing fleet, working across 7 maintenance sites with one of the leading base maintenance facilities in the world, taking care since 2004.
Vista Aircraft Maintenance is the in-house maintenance provider for the Vista Members’ fleet, which comprises light, super mid-size, long-range, and ultra-long-range aircraft. By investing in internal maintenance, Vista is able to prioritize the highest standards of service, safety, security, reliability, and value, demonstrating a continued commitment to providing a seamless service to clients globally.
Your Responsibilities
* Ensure that VAM meets its statutory obligations in relation to Health and Safety Legislation.
* Provide advice and guidance on Health and Safety matters to management and staff.
* Oversee risk assessment activities including COSHH and development of policies and procedures to support these areas.
* Develop and provide training and induction to staff and third parties working on site.
* Perform investigations and prepare reports relating to Health and Safety occurrences and near misses in the business.
* Provide support on Health and Safety matters to the wider Vista Group as required including travel to other sites in Europe.
* Any other reasonable request from management in line with the Health and Safety Manager role.
Required Skills, Qualifications, and Experience
* NEBOSH General Certificate in Health and Safety or equivalent.
* Strong working knowledge of UK H&S Regulation.
* Experience of using online integrated management tools.
* Experience in a highly regulated environment i.e., aviation, nuclear, rail, construction.
* Proficient with Microsoft Office software.
* Experience with Centrik software.
* Experience of working in Part 145.
* Membership of IOSH or equivalent industry body.
