Job Title: Part Time Bookkeeper
Location: Hemel Hempstead
Hours: 16-20 hours per week
About the Role:
We’re recruiting on behalf of a client in the Electrical products wholesaler industry who is seeking a skilled Part Time Bookkeeper to join their team in Hemel Hempstead. If you have the experience this opportunity is for you!
Key Responsibilities:
* Processing payments, invoices, income, and receipts
* Entering data into accounting software or databases
* Preparing financial statements, such as balance sheets, cash flow, and profit and loss
* Tracking bank account balances
* Completing VAT returns
* Verifying the accuracy of business accounts
* Recording inconsistencies to help the accountant reconcile inaccuracies
* Preparing employee wages
* Managing employee expense claims
* Using knowledge of local laws to comply with reporting requirements
Shift times:
* Monday to Friday 4 to 5 hours a day, hours are to be confirmed, working hours can work around the school run etc
What We’re Looking For:
* Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience as an Bookkeeper or Accountant or similar job roles
* Skills: Strong attention to detail and a good level of English speaking, reading and writing
