Your new school
This primary school is looking for a part-time Level 2 Teaching Assistant to start in September.This school self evaluation is reflective. It gives teachers the opportunity to take a step back from daily school life and consider how the systems, policies and practices that they have in place impact upon student progress and the life of the schoolmunity. The overall aim is to drive improvement and to ensure high standards are maintained, so student oues are the best that they can be for the children attending the school.
Your new role
This role will be supporting a small group of children in reception with SEN and behavioural needs, following the children’s ECHP plans and creating literacy and numeracy activities for the children and taking out children for 1:1 support. You will be working Tuesday-Friday from 8:30-12:30pm.
What you'll need to succeed
1. You should have experience within a classroom setting in the last 2 years.
2. Must have a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification.
3. You will be required to have experience working with children with SEN.
4. You will need strongmunication skills, especially when working with groups of children, and 1:1.
