Accounts Clerk at Evertz
Evertz, a leading solutions provider for media broadcasting, is seeking an efficient Accounts Clerk to join our finance team. This role requires a highly focused individual accustomed to meeting deadlines.
The ideal candidate should demonstrate the following:
1. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise activities
2. Good verbal and written English communication skills
3. Basic understanding of accountancy and book-keeping
4. Holding or working towards an AAT certificate or related accountancy qualification
5. Strong organisational skills with the ability to work to and sometimes implement own processes
6. Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
As part of the Evertz UK finance team, your responsibilities will include:
1. Entering purchase invoices into Sage
2. Reviewing all purchases for appropriate authorisation
3. Processing employee expense claims
4. Preparing supplier and expense payment runs via BACS
5. Managing petty cash transactions and reconciling petty cash
6. Reconciling all supplier accounts
7. Administering direct debit and standing order agreements with suppliers
8. Performing other finance-related duties as required
