About the role
Ecclesiastical Planning Services, part of Benefact Group, is seeking a Marketing Specialist for our Gloucester office.
The Marketing Specialist will serve as the primary marketing contact for key accounts, responsible for developing and executing compliant marketing plans across various media within a regulatory framework.

Key responsibilities
* Collaborate with key funeral directing accounts and Business Relationship Managers to craft effective marketing strategies that meet sales targets using diverse media channels.
* Coordinate, produce, and implement regional marketing campaigns and technical product collateral.
* Monitor campaign performance, analyze results, and incorporate learnings into future plans.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with accounts through ongoing engagement and external meetings.
* Handle copywriting, editing, and manage communications through compliance approval processes, including print management.
* Perform administrative tasks such as data cleaning and proof checking.
* Coordinate with printers, designers, agencies, and internal stakeholders for localized marketing efforts.
* Assist with planning, scheduling, and communication tasks.
* Resolve logistical or quality issues efficiently.
* Ensure all outputs comply with brand guidelines and regulatory standards (FCA, GDPR, ASA).
* Identify opportunities to expand B2B marketing efforts targeting new funeral director accounts.
* Manage campaign processes to meet quality, compliance, and budget standards, ensuring timely delivery and ROI.
Knowledge, skills, and experience
* Full UK Drivers Licence— UK travel and overnight stays required.
* Proven track record in delivering marketing campaigns that drive growth and sales.
* Experience with marketing projects in FCA-regulated industries, including GDPR and print management.
* Excellent written communication, grammar, copywriting, proofreading, and editing skills.
* Strong planning, prioritization, and project management abilities.
* Exceptional stakeholder management and relationship-building skills with influential capabilities.
* Experience managing suppliers and processes effectively.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Team-oriented with a willingness to support colleagues and contribute to collective success.
