JobSummary:
Responsible for all planning and logistics surrounding all casino marketing related events and promotions. Manages and assists in the coordination of all areas of the marketing department, including developing marketing plans, loyalty marketing, relationship marketing, business and action plans for identified targets of opportunity that clearly define objectives, goals, schedules and action assignments.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
* Yes, will supervise a team consisting of Promotions/Special Events Supervisors and Promotions/Special Events Coordinators.
Duties/Responsibilities:
* Manages the development and implementation of Marketing Initiatives that serve to attract new customers as well as maintain and retain existing customers.
* Complimentary privileges within prescribed limits in accordance with the approved Comp Matrix.
* Assists in the development and execution of effective prospect and retention marketing programs for the property.
* Maintains current operating knowledge of necessary system functions to effectively coordinate Marketing projects.
* Leads the Special Events and Promotions Team in developing a monthly promotional calendar targeting a specific financial and strategic marketing goal.
* Work closely with casino departments to determine revenue driving strategies and marketing programming.
* Collaborate with all areas of the Marketing Team to ensure strategic departmental goals are on task aligning with overall company objectives, including Advertising, Digital Marketing and Database marketing initiatives.
* Ensure budgetary goals are set and monthly budgets are established to support the department’s revenue targets and establish cost control measures.
* Produces timely analysis reports to determine profitability of marketing programs.
* Participates and manages special events. Takes all steps necessary to ensure the financial and reputational success of promotions and special events.
* Assists in the handling of guest complaints in a prompt, courteous, and professional manner.
* Ensures timely and appropriate communication of notices to all employees and any other notifications of all marketing activities. Organizes strategies and tactics to elevate team member communication.
* Participates in budget development, monitors marketing and event costs, and ensures budgetary compliance
* Guides and ensures proper implementation of all new marketing strategies to ensure that they are successful while providing a high level of return on investment
* Ensures projects are meeting established timelines.
* Increase efficiency and effectiveness of marketing activity and analytical capability
* Oversees box office ticket operations includes but is not limited to building of events, execution of sales and event day execution.

* Effectively manage department personnel through planning, hiring, directing, and assigning work; address Team Member complaints and resolve conflicts, provide coaching, counseling and disciplinary action as needed as well as evaluate Team Member performance through company approved evaluation process.

Education and Experience:
* Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or appropriate marketing/casino experience.
* Thorough knowledge and understanding of player tracking and analysis system.
* 3-5 years’ experience in promotion and event management including the creation, execution and analysis of promotions and events with previous Casino Marketing experience preferred.
* Minimum 3 years’ Supervisory experience
Physical Requirements:
* Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
* Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at times.
* Ability to work in an environment with moderate to loud noise, bright lights, smoke, and dust.
* Ability to work flexible shifts and days of the week, including weekends and holidays.
