We are currently looking for a Defined Contributions (DC) Manager to join the Rail Administration team in Darlington on a permanent basis.

The role
As the DC Manager, you will be required to develop and lead a dedicated DC pensions team, ensuring the team complies with internal procedures, all aspects of pension legislations and regulations including master trust rules. This role will also be responsible for managing all DC scheme events and projects, ensuring that the team adheres to service and quality standards to allow for agreed business objectives to be delivered and a first-class customer experience to be provided.
This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK.
The person
We are looking for someone who has worked within the Pension industry and has extensive knowledge of DC pensions and master trust rules and governance. You will look to support team members to achieve high performance standards and provide effective development and learning opportunities and overall ensure pensions are calculated and paid correctly. Previous line management experience would be a distinct advantage but not essential.
The ideal candidate will be able to take a collaborative approach and has a passion for building strong working relationships, both internally and externally. You will be keen to help evolve the team by sharing best practices and support the development of your team through coaching and mentoring. You will be well versed in working to tight deadlines and able to switch resources and priorities at sometimes short notice.
