The Role:
As a member of the E-Systems team, reporting into the Sales Director, the Sales Manager will have commercial responsibility for all electronics products supplied to JLR Globally and Ford across Europe.
* Act as an interface between the company and the customer, representing customer-specific concerns and interests.
* Assume commercial responsibility for all ongoing projects in an assigned product area - from pre-series to series production to spare parts in direct OEM contact.
* Manage the project team and develop roadmaps to achieve specified financial key figures.
* Strategically position products with customers to generate growth.
* Prepare analyses and business case presentations with recommendations to the management.
* Be responsible for the successful implementation of acquisition projects and manage the RFQ team.
* Independently prepare offers in cooperation with the departments and be responsible for contract review, offer tracking, and negotiation.
* Conduct change management - commercial evaluation, negotiation, and implementation of technical product changes.
* Systematically and strategically plan customer visits as one of your core tasks.
* Monitor business development by observing target/actual deviations and competitor analyses, as well as determining customer-related data for sales and marketing planning.

Your Qualifications:
* Successfully completed a technical or business degree.
* At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in sales management, ideally in Lear's direct market environment.
* A leader who can motivate a cross-functional team.
* Unique selling point with initial product, manufacturing, or QM knowledge of electrical and/or electronic assemblies.
* Enjoy working on your own initiative and independently in a team, with the courage to utilize this freedom.
* Able to analyze complex and changing tasks.
* Enjoy liaising with customers and can establish a trusting basis for mutual cooperation.
* Willingness to travel.
