About the Role
As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for driving both short- and long-term rentals of our environmental, municipal and civil equipment and asset range. Youll be the face of Dawsongroup for the construction and local authoritysector in the South of England, working to maintain high equipment utilisation and exceeding customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Customer Engagement: Build and maintain regular contact with decision-makers in the construction sector, optimising opportunities for rentals and direct sales through tenders, site surveys, and customer visits.
2. Business Development: Research potential customers using trade publications, past contracts, industry insights, and personal networks.
3. Rental & Sales Growth: Identify opportunities for new rental business while maximising returns through second-hand equipment sales and joint enquiries with suppliers and manufacturers.
4. Relationship Management: Collaborate with Area Sales Executives, Branch Sales Managers, and other teams to align efforts with company sales plans.
