Night Shift (10pm to 6:15am), Monday to Friday / 40-Hours Per Week
Hourly Pay Range (Based on Experience): £12.81 to £14.04
Inclusive of Night Shift Pay Uplift.
Start Date: Sunday 30th March 2025.
This will be either a full-time fixed contract position working a 3.5-month, or a temporary to permanent position moving to either the morning and or afternoon shifts once the night shifts finish.
Own car / motorbike / scooter is essential due to rural location (no bus or train links).
Job Overview:
You will come into the business with relevant transferable skills as a machine operator, having worked in a factory or production environment.
We will train you to work with various food production machines, learning processes and procedures, so that you can become an integral part of the business’s success during their peak production period.
Successful Candidates will be asked to complete paid trial shift (1 or 2) before committing to a fixed term contract of 3.5-months or continuing as a temporary to permanent worker for 12-weeks.
If you are happy to commit long term then you will become a permanent member of staff, but you will work various weekly shifts across the business (as required).

Duties / Responsibilities:
* Operating food production machines.
* Following written instructions on daily work sheets.
* Lifting, carrying, and handling products up to 25KG.
* Movement of product around factory automation lines.
* Quality checking and following precise instructions.
* Working in a strict health and safety environment.
* Ensuring all food production machines run efficiently and effectively.
* Managing any production challenges, machine errors and daily production tasks.
* Wearing all required PPE, adhering to all food safety standards.
You will be given all the tools, training, and mentoring to learn and understand all aspects of the business, including lots of health and safety training.

Essential Requirements:
* Own transport due to the rural location and shift pattern, there are no public transport links available.
* Either machine operator or machine operations or production line or food production transferable skills are required.
* Able to communicate fluently in English both written and spoken, due to health and safety, worklist requirements, and process guidelines.
* Eligible to work full-time permanent in the UK.
