Due to our continued growth and exposure to the UK Nuclear sector, we are actively recruiting for a number of Quality Inspectors for our Workshop in Avonmouth which specializes in the fabrication and welding of Stainless Steel products.
As a Quality Inspector at Framatome Ltd, you will support the quality process to ensure a high level of quality standards are maintained in accordance with the relevant requirements.
Main Responsibilities
* Ensure compliance with customer and product specifications through rigorous inspections.
* Carry out visual and dye-penetrant inspection of welds in accordance with applicable specifications and procedures.
* Perform dimensional inspection of products ensuring compliance with drawing requirements.
* Report all completed inspections in a timely manner.
* Communicate regularly with other departments as well as clients.
* Ensure traceability of raw materials is maintained throughout the manufacturing process.
* Manage surveillance and inspection requirements in line with applicable Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
* Assist with the non-conformance reporting process (NCRs).
You Are
To be considered, we require the following technical skills:
* PCN L2 Dye Pen or CSWIP equivalent (essential)
* PCN L2 RT/Radiographic Interpretation (desirable)
* Previous fabrication/welding experience (desirable)
* Experience with Microsoft Office software for reporting purposes.
