About the Role
The aim of the People Team at Fourfront is to support both the business and employees in today’s ever-changing business environment. The People Team are collectively responsible for the full employment life cycle of all Group Companies and employees, in line with a modern-day people approach.
As People Advisor, you will be involved with the full employment lifecycle of the Group’s companies taking the lead in all employee relations matters, with support of the Group People Director as required. Along with the rest of the People Team, you will have personal responsibility for certain projects and initiatives, as well as staying abreast of industry and general People trends.
With the ‘Disruptive HR’ concept in mind, our company initiatives are integral to the success of the team and your role will play a proactive part in the creation and implementation of these.
Key Accountabilities Include
* Fully support the values of the Fourfront Way with every decision, action and behaviour and encourage others to do the same on a day-to-day basis.
* Work in conjunction with the Group People Director and other team members, to create and implement People strategy which embodies company culture, enhances employee experience, and supports the overall company goals.
* Own and be responsible for all administration tasks for the team e.g. changes to contract, salary review, maternity/paternity letters. This includes keeping our HR folders, HRIS (PeopleHR), ConnectFour and HR trails up to date.
* Proactively supporting line managers by being the first point of call in any employee-related matters along with the support of the Group People Director.
* Working with managers, providing guidance on any performance or conduct matters, aiming, where appropriate, to deal with these informally before implementing Company Disciplinary procedure.
* Proactively stay abreast of UK employment law and any changes that come into play.
* Ensure that all payroll changes are recorded accurately for the payroll supervisor to action.
* Support Group People Director with management of annual salary reviews, Christmas Bonuses, commission scheme changes.
* In conjunction with the other People Advisor, run the full IR35 process including initial interaction with the freelancer.
* Ownership of Employee Benefits management and keep up to date and implementing required changes to do with pension/benefit legislation changes.
* Work with the Company’s broker regarding pensions, Private Medical Insurance, Life Assurance, and Income protection. This includes managing queries, quotes, and supporting with renewals.
* Work together with the People Team on internal Group initiatives: which may include areas such: Wellbeing, Culture, Engagement, Diversity & Inclusion, Reward & Benefits and implementation of new systems/processes.

Professional Skills & Experience
* 3+ years previous People/HR experience as an Advisor or similar role.
* Holds (or working towards) CIPD Level 5.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Strong time management skills and the ability to organise and prioritise work.
* Works well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
* Experience of using LinkedIn/ other social media.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office software, in particular Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
* Ability to think outside the box/creatively – continuously bringing fresh ideas to the team.
* Familiarity with information technology, especially digital.
