About the role
It is exciting times here at Churchill Retirement Living and we arerecruiting for an HR apprentice to support the HR team in our Head Office basedin Ringwood.
Reporting into the Head of Human Resources you willsupport the HR team across the entire employee lifecycle for 700 colleagues.During the apprenticeship you will spend time in our Recruitment, HR andLearning and Development teams so that you get a rounded experience of a busyand professional HR team.
Your role will be office based and willinclude a variety of duties where you will learn to assist activities thatsupport the attraction, wellbeing, and development of our Colleagues.
Duties will include:
· Supporting the recruitment team with screening CV’s, advertisingvacancies, shortlisting candidates and arranging interviews
· Responding to queries in the HR mailboxes and ensuring that allColleagues receive timely responses to their queries
· Producing documentation e.g. new starter offers and contracts,promotions, employee changes and references
· Ensuring our HR system (PeopleHR) is kept up to date with any employeeupdates
· Assisting with the starter and leaver processes
· Supporting the learning & development team with organising training
· Proving a high level of customer service to all of our Colleagues

The hours of work are Monday to Thursday, 9am to5.30pm and Fridays are 9am to 5pm
What Qualification do I get?
Onsuccessful completion of this apprenticeship, you will gain the followingqualifications:
HRsupport Level 3 apprenticeship which provides associate membership to theChartered Institute of Professional Development
What opportunities are there for progression?
Oncompletion of the apprenticeship, you will have a broad base of knowledge andexperience that will set you up for your future career in HR. Naturalprogression is to an HR administrator, HR advisor then HR Business Partner, oryou may choose to pursue a role in Recruitment or Learning and Development.
About you
This is a busy and varied support role. To be successful you will need:

14. Previous work experience, ideally in a role that requires interaction with customers or people
15. Excellent computer and keyboard skills, particularly relating to Microsoft applications.
16. Good interpersonal and administrative skills.
