Role Overview:
As a Community Care Assistant at Walfinch, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients. You will provide personalised care and support in the comfort of their own homes, ensuring each individual's needs are met with kindness and respect. We believe in nurturing our team members through comprehensive training and clear career progression pathways.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver compassionate care and companionship to clients, promoting their independence and wellbeing.
- Assist clients with daily living tasks, including personal care and medication management.
- Build meaningful relationships with clients and their families, ensuring a personalised approach to care.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in clients’ conditions.
- Support clients with social activities, encouraging community engagement and participation.
Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience in a care role is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
- A compassionate and patient nature, with a genuine desire to help others.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel to clients’ homes within the Suffolk Coastal area.
- A proactive and flexible approach to work, with a willingness to learn and develop your skills.
