School Administrator – Temporary
To start the week commencing, Monday 20th January 2025. Ideally starting on Tuesday 21st January
This role requires you to have an ‘Enhanced DBS Check’ with access to the ‘DBS Update Service’
Are you an experienced Administrator in the Derby area with a background working in a school environment or similar?
We are currently recruiting for a School Administrator / Office Coordinator to work in the Ilkeston / Heanor area.
It would be ideal if you have some school administration experience, however, applicants with strong administration experience in a similar sector will also be considered. Still, you must have the drive and enthusiasm to learn new skills and be able to adapt quickly.
You must also be willing to work temporarily and work between the hours of 8-4 pm.
There may also be an opportunity to move to a permanent contract within the schools, however, this is not guaranteed.
As a School Administrator, your day-to-day responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
* Inputting details onto SIMS (CRM)
* Answering phones and taking messages
* Typing of letters and memos
* Dealing with parents and pupils
You must be:
* Proactive
* Hardworking
* Used to working to strict deadlines
* Not afraid to take on new tasks
* Able to multi-task
* Outgoing and have a friendly personality
