As a Multi-Skilled Technician – Electrical Bias, you will play a key role in maintaining, improving, and developing cutting-edge manufacturing processes. Working Hours: Shift 1: 05:45 – 14:00 (Monday – Thursday) & 05:45 – 12:45 (Friday) Shift 2: 13:45 – 00:00 (Monday – Wednesday) & 13:45 – 23:00 (Thursday) (Friday Off) Alternative shift patterns available Job Description: As a Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and improving electrical systems across the site. You will work on cutting-edge automation projects, assisting in the design, build, testing, and installation of electrical control systems. You will have the opportunity to develop electrical schematics and ensure the continued advancement of our production facilities. Key Responsibilities: Diagnose and repair electrical faults in commercial and domestic systems Conduct routine maintenance and ensure compliance with manufacturer standards Fault finding and program modification on Mitsubishi & Siemens PLCs Build electrical control panels and rewire faulty electrical systems Mentor apprentices and junior technicians Install electrical systems in line with 18th Edition Wiring Regulations Work independently to identify and resolve electrical concerns Skills & Experience: Qualifications: HNC Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) - Time Served Minimum. 18th Edition Wiring Regulations Certification (desired, not essential) Experience with Mitsubishi, Siemens, and Beckhoff PLC programming & fault finding IPAF and FLT license (preferred but not essential) Strong knowledge of IEE regulations and NICEIC requirements Ability to work both independently and within a team to maintain and enhance automation processes Why Should You Apply?
