We are looking for an Allocations and Lettings Officer to join our busy Allocations and Lettings Team to provide an excellent service to our customers and potential customers in allocating social housing properties and completing tenancy changes. What you will be doing: Allocating all bpha rental properties in accordance with bpha’s allocations policies and nomination agreements held with local authority partners. This includes shortlisting of applicants from the local authority housing register Making decisions on the suitability of applicants for properties in terms of needs, affordability and previous tenancy conduct Maximising income through minimising rent loss resulting from vacant properties Completing changes to tenancies such as assignments (including mutual exchanges) and successions in line with legislation, contractual rights and bpha’s policies.
