We are looking to appoint a Student Support Caseworker to join our pastoral team and act as a case worker to support and improve attendance of students who have either persistent or severe non-attendance at school due to Emotional Based School Avoidance. This is a new role that we have created in response to the growing need in society that has been well documented on the news and in our efforts to support our community further. The role will provide family liaison to support families to ensure a holistic package of support to improve school attendance and to enable students who have low attendance to reintegrate back into school and succeed in their school life. It is a role that we hope to build into our permanent staffing structure if successful.
The successful candidate will have relevant experience in Administration and Organisation as well as experience of working with children.
