Job Purpose
To ensure that guests’ bedrooms, corridors, and public areas are serviced to Hotel and Company standards
Main Responsibilities and Key Tasks
1. To clean allocated departure and occupied rooms to the hotel standard
2. Carry out scheduled deep cleaning programmes
3. Maintain the cleanliness and stock levels of housekeeping trolleys
4. Maintain cleanliness of storeroom areas and equipment
5. To deal with guest requests promptly
6. To report all lost and found items and ensure these are recorded in appropriately
7. Report maintenance defects to the Housekeeping Manager
8. Report sub-standard linen to the Housekeeping Manager
9. Receive linen deliveries and deliver to stores across the hotel
10. In accordance with your Supervisor the Job of the Day to be adhered to
11. Ensure corridors and stairways are cleaned after completing allocated rooms
12. To develop and maintain good working relationships with all departments in the hotel
13. To attend all relevant training as and when required
14. To show willingness to take on additional responsibilities when necessary

16. To have a thorough knowledge of and adherence to the law regarding the following company regulations:
17. Fire regulations and procedures
18. Health and safety regulations
19. First aid procedures
20. To ensure that you always comply with the company dress code.
21. To undertake special duties or work outside the normal daily/weekly routine but within the overall scope of the position at the request of your Supervisor/Line Manager
