JOB DESCRIPTION Job Title: Returns Co-Ordinator Reports to: Supply Chain Manager Direct Reports: None Job Summary Working alongside our third-party logistics (3PL) partners primarily at their warehouse premises your responsibilities will include inspecting, processing, refurbishing and liquidating returned items. Frequent travel (with limited notice) within the UK and overseas (current locations Rotterdam – NL, Bradford – UK) will necessitate frequent overnight stays is an essential requirement of the role. You will therefore require a full valid driving licence and passport. Job Specification Responsible for the testing, cleaning, and packing of returned goods. Carry out inspection of returned goods to ensure they meet required criteria. Make decisions on product grading by adhering to company internal guidelines and assisting the company’s 3PL partners in following these guidelines. Log inspection findings and report on any defects, including photographs, in an accurate & timely manner. Generate product barcodes and relabel goods. Working with our 3PL partners, request stock adjustments and submit advanced shipping notifications (ASN’s) to manage returned inventory. Travel between our various global 3PL partners as and when required, and work alongside them on their sites to process returns. Support the Company’s 3PL partners identifying returned units and matching returns merchandise authorization (RMA) numbers. Provide regular, accurate & timely updates to Management. Any other duties that the company may assign to you from time to time within the range of your skills and experience. Person Specification/Skills Strong planning skills, logical and systematic approach to work. Good time management, with the ability to work under pressure, maintain accuracy and keep to deadlines. The ability to solve problems and make decisions, as well as to think “outside of the box”. The confidence to interact with differing teams both internally and with our external partners. Coupled with the ability to work using your own initiative. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong IT literacy, skills in Microsoft Excel is essential WMS/ERP skills are desirable A full valid UK driving licence is a condition of the role. It would be desirable if the successful applicant had some experience of e-commerce and related supply chain operations. However as full training will be given this is not an essential requirement.
