£17,704 - £18,965 (21.6 Hours per week, Whole Year working)

St John's Academy Nursery is a large Nursery. Our staff team are committed to 'Getting it Right for Every Child.'
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic professional to join our staff team at this exciting time as an Early Childhood Practitioner.
You will be committed to sustaining improvement, promoting high quality learning and teaching, and raising achievement and attainment for all learners.
Applications are invited from practitioners who have the vision and energy to sustain and ensure continued development and progress within our nursery setting.
The working hours for this post will be Wednesday afternoon, Thursday & Friday all day.
The Individual
You must have SNNEB, NNEB, SVQ3, SCQF7, or HNC in Childcare and Education or equivalent.
You must have, or be eligible for, registration with the Scottish Social Services Council SSSC.
You have a good understanding of child development and milestones.
You must have evidence of an understanding of the principles of working within early education.
You must have an awareness of the range of professionals involved in the care and education of young children.
You must have the ability to support with curriculum developments.
Ideally you will have experience of working within early education.
Ideally you will have knowledge of Council policies and procedures.
Ideally you will have additional qualifications to support work i.e. child protection, first aid etc.
