We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Plumbing and Heating Estimator / Surveyor and Project Manager who has plumbing and heating surveying / estimating experience in both domestic and commercial sectors.
This dual-role position is ideal for a professional with a strong background in both surveying and project management, specialising in plumbing and heating systems across residential and commercial properties.
Working as the Plumbing and Heating Estimator / Surveyor and Project Manager you will be responsible for conducting site surveys, providing accurate assessments, managing and overseeing the installation or upgrade of plumbing and heating systems, and ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

DUTIES
Your duties as the Plumbing and Heating Estimator / Surveyor and Project Manager include:
Surveying:
Conduct site surveys for plumbing and heating installations, repairs, and upgrades in both domestic and commercial settings
Assess and provide detailed reports on existing plumbing and heating systems, identifying areas for improvement, upgrades, or replacements
Prepare accurate quotations and cost estimations for proposed works
Liaise with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, codes of practice, and industry standards
Project Management:
Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of plumbing and heating projects from initial consultation to final handover
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and quality standards are maintained
Liaise with suppliers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure the timely procurement of materials and services
Ensure that projects remain within budget and report on project progress to senior management
Monitor on-site progress, resolve any issues, and ensure work is carried out safely and efficiently
Ensure all health and safety protocols are adhered to throughout the project lifecycle
Client and Team Collaboration:
Maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and team members, offering technical advice and support as needed
Provide leadership and guidance to installation teams to ensure high-quality workmanship
Communicate effectively with clients to ensure project expectations are met and manage any changes to scope or schedule
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
Proven experience as a Plumbing & Heating Surveyor and Project Manager in both domestic and commercial sectors
Strong technical knowledge of plumbing and heating systems, including design, installation, and maintenance
Excellent understanding of relevant regulations, codes of practice, and health and safety requirements
Project management experience with a demonstrated ability to deliver projects on time and within budget
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Relevant qualifications (e.g., City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3, Gas Safe certification, etc.) and a full driving license
Experience with estimating software and project management tools is desirable
