Job Title: Nursing Home Manager - £90k Location: North West London Job Type: Permanent Salary: £90k Competitive, based on experience and bonus Job Description: Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursing Home Manager for our well-established care home in North West London. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing home management and excellent clinical leadership skills. This role involves overseeing the day-to-day operations of the home, ensuring high standards of care are maintained, and leading a team of healthcare professionals. Key Responsibilities: - Manage the daily operations of the nursing home, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies. - Provide strong clinical leadership and support to nursing and care staff, ensuring the highest standards of care are delivered to all residents. - Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve the quality of care and services. - Oversee the recruitment, training, and development of staff, ensuring a motivated and skilled workforce. - Manage budgets and resources effectively, ensuring financial sustainability and efficiency. - Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, their families, and other stakeholders. - Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure the home meets the required standards of care and safety. - Handle complaints and concerns from residents and their families, ensuring issues are resolved promptly and effectively. - Lead by example, promoting a culture of respect, dignity, and compassion within the home. Skills and Qualifications: - Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) with a valid NMC PIN. - Proven experience in nursing home management, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality care. - Excellent clinical leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team. - Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and standards. - Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to manage budgets and resources effectively. - Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. - Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to improving the quality of life for residents.
