LOCATION: Speke, Merseyside YOU MAY BE: Technical Assessor, Technical Support Chemist, Site Chemist, Hazpak Chemist, Process Chemist, Transfer Station Chemist, Hazardous Waste Management ROLE: Technical Assessor / Chemist - Hazardous Waste You will be responsible for assessing and categorising hazardous materials, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and health & safety standards. You will oversee the entire waste management process, from accurate listing and collection to final disposal. Engaging with clients, you will provide expert advice on waste segregation, packaging, and disposal solutions. The position involves liaising with disposal outlets for pricing, coordinating with hauliers for transportation, and maintaining accurate documentation. EXPERIENCE: Technical Assessor / Chemist - Hazardous Waste You will have experience handling hazardous waste and an understanding of waste classification regulations such as WM3 and ADR. A degree or equivalent qualification in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline. A strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental compliance is essential, and qualifications such as WAMITAB or COTC would be highly advantageous. A UK driving licence is essential as the role involves travel to client sites.
