Job Role: Mechanical Supervisor
Location: HMP Whitemoor, Whitemoor, Longhill Rd, March PE15 0PR
Salary: £45,303.07 per annum, +5% additional for working shifts over weekends (1 in 3)
Contract: Permanent, full time, 39 hours per week
We are seeking an NVQ Level 3 qualified Plumber with Management experience to join our team at HMP Whitemoor, a high security adult male prison, as a Mechanical Supervisor. Qualifications and Experience Required:
1. C&G 6189 Plumbing and domestic heating
2. C&G 5962 certificate in Plumbing (Advanced craft)
3. C&G 6019 Mechanical Engineering services (plumbing)
4. C&G 6018 heating and ventilation installation
5. C&G 6129 certificate in Plumbing
6. C&G 214 Engineering systems maintenance
7. C&G 6188 Heating and ventilating
8. C&G 6088 certificate in heating and ventilating
9. C&G 6032 the advanced craft certificate in plumbing
10. EAL Diploma in Plumbing and Heating
11. Five years' experience as a plumber or equivalent
12. Must be familiar with and able to work to Water Supply Regulation and Control of Legionella L8 requirements
13. Experience working on commercial or industrial heating and water or building services systems
14. Experience of supervising staff
15. Up to date First Aid at Work Qualification - Desirable
16. Relevant professional qualifications (facilities management/project management) - Desirable
17. Good Health & Safety knowledge
18. Excellent organisational, time management and people skills
