We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic midwife who has a keen interest in all aspects of maternity care to manage the Ward 26, an antenatal and postnatal ward with 21 beds with the addition of a 5 bedded Maternity Triage area.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced midwife to join our established midwifery team at NLAG, Scunthorpe.
Main duties of the job
1. To provide midwifery leadership and act as a role model to others, providing specialist expertise that is underpinned by theory and practical experience.
2. Provide 24 hour responsibility for the management of the midwifery teams, managing staff and liaising with others as necessary.
3. Continuing responsibility for development of staff, equipment, supplies and ward/department resources.
