Job Description
What we expect from you
Each JoJo store is unique, whether trading over two floors, having a quirky layout, or situated in an interesting place. They have a life of their own. Our store managers own their store, managing it as an individual business centre. You will take pride in your store, your team, and your customers.
Our USP in this retail world is the relationship we build with our customers, many of whom are loyal to our brand and local store team. You will be the driving force ensuring sales targets are met, customer service is outstanding, and your team is trained and motivated to impress our customers. Pride in your store means striving for perfection.
A day in the life:
1. Ensure your team upholds our B Corp principles and USP.
2. Manage overall store performance within an Omni-Channel setting, including Ship from Store and Click and Collect orders.
3. Celebrate store successes with your team and address shortfalls by setting achievable targets.
4. Maintain stock accuracy to fulfill in-store and Omni orders, demonstrating stock control skills.
5. Create a fun, lively, and safe environment for customers and staff, leading by example in operational tasks.
6. Enjoy training and team development, utilizing virtual and digital resources.
7. Promote our B Corp principles and culture through all business practices and team management.
8. Organize rotas and holiday allocations fairly.
9. Delegate responsibilities to stimulate team development.
A typical week: 4 x 7.5-hour shifts and 1 x 6-hour shift, with flexibility as per store needs.

* Experience as a retail Store Manager.
* Customer service and sales experience.
* Competent IT skills and system aptitude.
* Ability to demonstrate sales skills with empathy and active listening.

* Attention to detail to maintain store appearance.
