A leading recruitment agency is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to work 1:1 with students with SEN in schools across Bristol and the surrounding areas. Key Responsibilities: Provide tailored 1:1 support for students with SEN in the classroom. Assist in the development and implementation of individual learning plans. Offer emotional and behavioural support to students as needed. Work closely with teachers to ensure students' needs are met. Promote independence and confidence in students' learning. Support the delivery of lessons and assist with classroom management. Key Requirements: Previous experience working in a classroom environment, ideally as an LSA or teaching assistant. Experience working with children with SEN (autism, ADHD, dyslexia, etc.). Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students. A patient, empathetic, and flexible approach to supporting students. A DBS check or willingness to undergo one (required for working in schools).
