We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Sales Administrator to join my client's dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the sales department by managing administrative tasks, ensuring smooth operations, and providing excellent customer service. This position requires strong organisational skills, proficiency in office software, and the ability to communicate effectively with both internal teams and clients.
This role will turn into a permanent position after 12 weeks.
Hours: Monday to Thursday 08.00-16.30 and Friday 08.00-16.00
Pay: £12.50-£13.00 DOE
Duties
1. Provide administrative support to the sales team.
2. Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions using Sage and other relevant software.
3. Respond promptly to customer inquiries via email and phone, ensuring a high level of customer service.
4. Raise PO's and generate orders for customers.
5. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and workflow.
6. Utilise Outlook for effective email management and scheduling.
Qualifications
1. Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably within a sales environment.
2. Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with Sage being advantageous.
3. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
4. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on customer service.
5. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks performed.
6. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
