RACE is a dynamic environment, combining routine engineering with innovative robotic experimentation. In this role, you'll ensure all work is planned and conducted in line with the highest health, safety, and regulatory standards. You will collaborate with projects conducting novel research and development, advising on safety best practices, and managing the RACE work control system to ensure proper planning, review, and approval. You will manage both live and historic Work Control Plans (WCPs), ensuring documentation is up-to-date and properly tracked, and act as the approver for work within the core RACE building. Collaboration with the Facility Group Manager to gather feedback and implement lessons learned for continuous improvement will also be key, as well as supporting system improvements, changes, and providing training on risk assessments and work control processes as needed.
