The role as Technical Manager A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced and dynamic Technical Manager to join our professional Technical team in Caterham, Surrey. Reporting to the Technical Director (South) your primary responsibility will be to manage allocated development sites and ensure timely production of commercially viable detailed engineering and architectural designs, obtaining all necessary statutory consents. You will be responsible for managing your own team and act as a focus for all commercial and technical matters ensuring that Company targets and objectives are achieved in a timely manner. The role is based at our head office in Caterham, with travel to our sites as required. About you A degree in a relevant discipline such as Engineering, Architectural Technology or Architecture, ideally at a grade 2:1 or 1:1 or equivalent. Chartered or Incorporated status. Broad Technical knowledge and experience indicating a well-rounded understanding of your discipline and experience gained within a house-building business. A proven track record of managing and developing people. Excellent IT skills using relevant software packages. Experience in managing, delivering and adoption of development infrastructure, e.g. S104, S278, S38. Collaboration and strengthening relationships of key industry stakeholders.
