Equans is looking for a Facilities Operative to join our team at EDF Hunterston KA23 9QJ on a permanent basis. This is a full time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £25, per annum and benefits package.
Shift Pattern :Monday to Thursday 8.00am -4.30pm and Friday 8.00am - 2.00pm
1. Please note this role includes CTC clearance, therefore, ability to pass is essential
What will you deliver?
2. Make sure that all working areas in these premises are kept to the highest standard of hygiene, health and safety and presentation, in all areas inside and outside plant and non plant areas within station
3. To carry out all work as requested Drive vehicles for Porterage/Waste/Forklift etcLegionella Water FlushingRespirator Fit TestingHosting/Fire Watching/Confined Space GuardianWaste ManagementSupport station initiatives e.g. Winter Readiness Programme and work management/passport requestsCleaning industrial plant areas including RCA
4. Responsible for ensuring compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental and COSHH laws or regulations to make certain that all company Health and Safety policies, procedures are adhered to
5. Work as part of the Soft Services Team in achieving the standards and expectations of the contract.

Who are we looking for?
17. Experience in the Industrial Field Preferred.
18. Full valid UK Driver License
19. Ability to follow work instructions
20. Ideally, experience of heavy-duty cleaning and COSHH awareness are preferred, however, on-the-job training will be provided for those successful candidates with limited experience.
21. An intermediate knowledge of health and safety requirements in a similar environment.
22. EDF / EQUANS Training will be required
23. Competent and trained to use all equipment / machinery relevant to the role
