Job Title: Shipping Procurement Advisor Job Location: Aberdeen or Sunbury-on-Thames Contract Length: 12 months (possibility of extension) Industry: Oil and Energy, Shipping, Procurement Working Hours: 8 per day/ 40 per week Role Overview: The Shipping Procurement Advisor role will provide a range of procurement support to bp Shipping. The Shipping business is of strategic importance that supports the operated and trading vessel fleet. What you will do: Liaising with business leaders and their teams across cultures and geographies to understand the business requirements and demand. Partnering with centralized Supply Facing and GBS sourcing teams to supporting development and implementation of category strategies. Leading and managing ongoing supplier relationships. Working with Contract Accountable Managers (CAMs) and Budget Responsible Owners (BROs) to ensure effective contract management. What you will have: Degree qualified in a related business field (procurement, supply chain, business or law)Sourcing development and contract execution experience Experience in contract negotiation & sourcing Strong understanding of terms and conditions Skilled in practical supplier post contract award management to drive improvements and results Strong working knowledge of P2P processes Interpersonal and project management skills Experience working in a fast pace, changing environment with tight budget controls and requirements Commercial model analysis skills Outstanding written and oral communication skills We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
