Are you ready for a meaningful role that's as energetic as it is rewarding? We're seeking a Support Worker to support two gentlemen, aged 20s-40s, who share a two-bedroom home.
These two are all about enjoying life! Football fans through and through (one cheers for Chelsea, the other Arsenal), they love music, dancing, and attending musical theatre clubs. They're regulars at Kids in Action three times a week, keeping up an active social life that's sure to make each day fun and busy.
In this role, you'll work primarily on a 1:1 basis, although four shifts a week will involve working alongside another support worker to help both gentlemen. You will support both gentlemen by providing gentle prompts to encourage daily routines like showering, meal planning, and supporting to develop kitchen skills. Medication management involves support with oral medication, creams, and an inhaler.
We take every opportunity to support people to live the lives they want so there can be elements of driving, either mobility vehicle or your own car, to support people to their chosen activities, drivers are essential for our homes.
Shifts:
This position will include working alternative weekends and bank holidays. Shift times can be 7.30am-3.00pm, 2:30pm-10:00pm and long days. This can be discussed with you during the interview process.
