FedPoint Manager Compliance in PORTSMOUTH, New Hampshire
FedPoint is seeking a Compliance Manager to support and advise our Compliance Team, ensuring FedPoint's adherence to a wide range of regulations and requirements. Reporting to the Director of Compliance, you will balance compliance needs with exceptional customer service for both internal and external stakeholders. This role is an excellent opportunity for a strategic leader with strong compliance expertise and team management skills.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the Compliance Team (50%)
o Manage and coach team members to ensure performance and cohesion.
o Provide guidance on internal FedPoint inquiries and compliance-related decisions.
o Oversee AWD workflow distribution, assign tasks, and ensure proper handling and productivity.
o Revise and maintain Compliance SharePoint site and process documentation.
o Provide training for new Compliance Admin staff.
* Support FedPoint Staff (15%)
o Conduct educational sessions for internal teams to improve awareness of compliance requirements.
o Assist in identifying compliance gaps and working with business leaders to develop solutions.
o Handle internal inquiries related to program administration and account handling.
o Report monthly metrics and ensure accuracy and timely reporting.
* Support Compliance Leadership (30%)
o Maintain transparent communication with the Director of Compliance and team members.
o Assist in strategic communication and influence across departments.
o Represent Compliance in internal meetings and escalate issues as necessary.
o Track and ensure proper handling of formal complaints.
* Support Government and John Hancock Contacts (5%)
o Lead incident reporting and related customer communications.
o Provide backup support for incident reporting during business hours and primary support after hours.
Qualifications
* 3+ years experience with people management.
* 1+ year experience with change management strategies and techniques, or related formal training/certification.
* 2+ years experience working in at least one of the following areas: government contracts; compliance with contract requirements, federal regulations, and/or HIPAA law; strategic client communication.
* Experience in process assessment and improvement.
* Proficient with Microsoft Office applications; experience with AWD or similar workflow management tool preferred.
* Experience in handling legal documents a plus. Proven effective writing and editing ability.

Compensation: The typical starting salary would be between $93-$109k/year, based on qualifications and experience as it relates to our requirements. This position is eligible for an annual discretionary manager bonus plan based on company metric performance as well as a full suite of benefits, listed below.
