The purpose of this role is to manage the correct action and disposition of the Engineering design data and updating item data and Bills of Material within the BaaN MRP system.
Key Responsibilities
1. To verify accuracy and content of engineering design data before entry into the MRP system.
2. To process ECR's, updating item data and bills of material for Baan Company 270.
3. BoM data entry from drawings on Baan 270.
4. BoM data entry from service bulletins on Baan 270.
5. BoM data entry from provisional data onto Baan 270.
6. BoM data control processing on Smarteam.
7. BoM control processing of Advance Drawing Change Notices (ADCNs).
8. To compile and maintain engineering colour documents.
9. To coordinate data transfer between the PLM system and the MRP system as required in support of engineering data release.
Job Requirements
Level 3 qualifications (NVQ / BTEC, National certificate / Diploma), OR suitable experience acquired by working in an Engineering or Operations role.
Engineering or Operations background
Previous experience in Engineering data entry and control
Experience in engineering data requirements
