Service Assistant - Swanage Summary This service assistant role will involve working within our Outdoor Facilities team at Studland Bay, to help deliver exemplary site presentation, maintenance, and an all-round excellent visitor experience. By bus, bike or car, to help you commute to our stunning location, we offer expenses for the chain ferry to and from work. Salary : 12.25 per hour Contract/duration: Fixed Term Contract until 29th September 2025 Hours/working pattern/hours : Full-time 37.5 hours per week. The working week for this role will be Thursday to Monday. Some shift working – 8.30am to 4.30pm or 10.15am to 06.15pm Interview date: w/c 21st April 2025 Potential start date: ASAP A full driving licence is required to be able to drive estate vehicles. In this role, you’ll be; Working within the Outdoor Facilities team to help maintain site presentation and appearance – assisting with the day-to-day servicing for the beaches and car parks Working alongside a big staff team and volunteers in delivering outstanding customer service across the property Carrying out regular ATV patrols while assisting with issues of public safety, such as first aid (training provided) Helping to enforce our rules, for example dogs on leads, or ban on BBQs, in order to protect our fragile ecosystems As a representative across Studland you’ll help visitors providing information and orientation Support across the property/portfolio when required Who we're looking for We’d love to hear from you if you’re: focused on giving great service to everyone you meet a team player, but also happy to work on your own initiative well-organised and adaptable willing to learn new skills.
