Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Administrator to join my client based in Camborne. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of their office by providing comprehensive administrative and sales support.
During peak periods in the summer and at Christmas, additional phone cover may be needed. This will be paid at time and a half and can be done from home.
Working Days: Monday - Friday 08.00 - 17.00 with a 30 min lunch break
Pay: £26,520 which will be reviewed in April or after 3 months.
Duties
1. Handle incoming calls with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
2. Process client orders via email, online, and via phone.
3. Deal with customer queries on products, stock levels, or faulty items.
4. Update customer details on CRM.
5. Inform customers of any delays on their orders.
6. Support clerical functions such as filing, photocopying, and scanning documents.
7. Work out metric conversions for products from mls, pints, gallons, cms, inches, and feet.
Experience
- Proven experience in an administrative role (minimum of 2-3 years).
- Proficiency in all Microsoft packages.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Familiarity with data entry processes and attention to detail is crucial.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
