Job summary An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a friendly, motivated Paediatric team at the Royal Glamorgan Hospital. The successful candidate will be based within the Paediatric Outpatients Department at The Royal Glamorgan Hospital which cares for children aged 0-16 yrs of age. Main duties of the job Healthcare Support Worker duties include supporting and caring for children and their families. Assisting the Registered Nurses, play leader and the Medical team to ensure the smooth running of the Unit. Duties will include ensuring the stock of equipment on the unit and general cleanliness on the unit is maintained. You will be working with the Registered Nurses to provide outpatient care for children and their families, and this can include carrying out observations including height and weight, and supporting with phlebotomy.
